Sam and Aaron Taylor-Johnson Mark Their 10th Anniversary With Vow Renewal

No one does a wedding quite like Hollywood’s A-listers, and for some, one ceremony just isn’t enough! Whether they’re celebrating a milestone anniversary, like Alec and Hilaria Baldwin, or recommitting to one another following a rough patch, like Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne or Beyoncé and Jay-Z, plenty of stars have taken a second plunge with their spouses.

Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg have made a tradition out of renewing their vows every year after initially tying the knot in August 2014.

“We always do it!” the Masked Singer star exclusively told Us Weekly in September 2019. “And it’s so nice to take that moment when you’re so busy to remember those words that you say to each other and the vows and the promises. Not that we need it, but it’s nice to do. … Every day I wake up and go, ‘I married my Prince Charming.’”

McCarthy noted upon her five-year anniversary with Wahlberg that the renewal of their vows never got old. “Every renewal feels like this. We can’t believe it’s been five years because it feels like it’s been a lifetime,” she gushed. “But also feels like it’s been two weeks. It’s weird because we have that new love feeling.”

Heidi Klum and Seal also renewed their vows annually after marrying in May 2005. However, they still split in January 2012 and finalized their divorce in October 2014.

“I think I got married eight times to Seal,” the supermodel told the Sunday Times in July 2021. “I thought it would be kind of, like, fun.”

She added: “I thought it would be a fest of love. But you know, that doesn’t work either. I tried, you can’t say I didn’t try!”

Klum confessed that she lost faith in the ceremonies after a while as she felt “this is really not working,” although she “tried” to stay the course.

Seal, meanwhile, was not a fan of the vow renewals. “That was my ex-wife’s idea, to be honest,” he said on Radio Andy in November 2015. “It kind of turned into a little bit of a circus, which I wasn’t terribly fond of because, by default, I’m quite a private person.”

When host Andy Cohen mentioned how highly publicized the ceremonies were, the singer shared, “That’s the thing I disliked most about it.”

Terry and Tammy Bradshaw
After seven years together, the couple tied the knot again during the season 2 premiere of The Bradshaw Bunch, which aired in October 2021. The former NFL star, who was previously divorced three times, admitted the couple’s first wedding was rushed due to his previous experiences with marriage. He hadn’t invited his daughters, Rachel and Erin Bradshaw, to the 2014 nuptials, which “kind of hurt my feelings that we weren't included," Erin told her dad in the episode. For the wedding redo, Terry made sure to “do it right" by having his entire family present at the Hawaiian beach ceremony, which was officiated by his stepdaughter, Lacey Hester, and included a fire-eating dancer. When his bride walked down the aisle, the football analyst was stunned. “Gigi looks pretty dog gone good, gang,” he joked, adding later in the episode, "It's so good to have my girls here." "A couple of weeks ago @stephencurry30 surprised me with the most beautiful vow renewal ceremony,” the Full Plate author wrote via Instagram in September 2021. "He even picked out my dress for me and had it waiting. Our big girl Riley officiated, and Ryan and Canon walked me through the grass of our backyard. It’s everything I’ve always dreamed of but didn’t know could be possible in this way. A moment I will never forget." Courtesy of Matt Baron/Shutterstock
Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg
The couple celebrated their seventh anniversary with a vow renewal. "Seven years — no itch! I love you more than ever, Mrs Wahlberg," Wahlberg shared via Instagram in August 2021. He added, "Thank you Reverend Ray McElroy (aka @bellboy47), my friend and Minister, for helping me surprise my wife again (got ya baby) and for gracing us with your wisdom and your blessing. 'Seven = Completion. Perfection.' 🙏🏼 So grateful to be able to 'renew' gods amazing blessing for another year. On to forever. 🙏🏼❤️" Jason Mendez/Invision/AP/Shutterstock

The “Conversations With Maria Menounos” podcast host explained the do-over to followers on Instagram Stories in October. “For anybody who doesn’t understand, we did get married New Year’s Eve, yes, but this is our, like, big official ceremony and reception in Greece, and so we’re very excited,” she said at the time.  Allen Berezovsky/Getty Images
Beyoncé and Jay-Z
After 10 years of marriage, three children (the couple share daughter Blue Ivy and twins Sir and Rumi) and a cheating scandal, which they both addressed on their respective albums Lemonade and 4:44, Bey and Jay renewed their vows in September 2018. “At 36, I became a new mother of three. I breastfed my twins. I renewed my vows with my husband of 10 years,” the “Apes--t” singer wrote on Instagram at the time.  Kevin Mazur/Getty Images
Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne
The duo, who remain one of Tinseltown's longest-standing pairs, may disagree about how often to have sex, as the former Talk cohost revealed in September 2018, but they are on the same page when it comes to their vows: One year earlier, they headed to the chapel — again! — after first tying the knot in 1982. Their private 2017 Las Vegas vow renewal came on the heels of a cheating scandal on Ozzy’s part with L.A. hairstylist Michelle Pugh, which Sharon explained to viewers on her show in May 2017. “35 years with someone is a hell of a long time. And I think I fell out of love with my husband and then fell back again,” she said at the time. “Probably, really, just months ago because he was trying so hard to be a better person — desperately trying, working his program, working with his therapist every day and trying so hard. I just had a newfound love and I respected him because he’s seriously trying to be a better person.” Bryan Steffy/Getty Image
Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum
The couple got engaged on season 7 of The Bachelorette in 2011 and wed in Pasadena, California, in December 2012. Nearly six years later, they renewed their vows with a destination ceremony in Aruba, with Rosenbaum writing on Twitter in August 2018, “Thanks to our vow renewal, we are good for at least another 5 years!” The duo announced their split in October 2020. Alec and Hilaria Baldwin
Five years into their 2012 marriage, the Saturday Night Live star and his better half celebrated their anniversary by getting hitched once more at the Wölffer Estate Vineyard in Long Island, New York. Their big day was attended by their children, Carmen, Rafael and Leonardo, as well as Alec’s daughter Ireland Baldwin, whom he shares with ex-wife Kim Basigner. “The whole relationship went fast. It was actually Alec’s idea,” Hilaria told Extra of their renewal ceremony. “Marriage is something you’re constantly working on, and it’s a wonderful thing to celebrate, which we are doing, and it’s also a wonderful thing to go, ‘Hey, I’m still in this, I’m still doing this, and we met a lot of people since then so we have to include them.'” ike Pont/WireImage
David and Victoria Beckham
The soccer stud revealed to BBC Radio 4's Desert Island Discs in January 2017 that he and the fashion designer have exchanged vows since tying the knot at Luttrellstown Castle in Dublin in July 1999. "We have renewed our vows since [our first wedding],” he said. “It was a lot more private with only six people there in our house. … We all know marriage is difficult at times. It's about working through it. We know each other better than anybody. People have talked about, 'Do we stay together because it's a brand?' Of course not. We stay together because we love each other, because we have four amazing children." Kevin Mazur/WireImage
Shannon and David Beador

Heidi Klum and Seal
The exes, who finalized their divorce in 2014 two years after their split, practically made sport of their vow renewals, saying “I do” every year on the anniversary of their 2005 marriage. As Seal told Andy Cohen in May 2015 of the ceremonies, “That was my ex-wife’s idea, to be honest. It kind of turned into a little bit of a circus, which I wasn’t terribly fond of because, by default, I’m quite a private person.” He added, “I don’t know how necessary [renewing the vows] was, but it was cool."   Christopher Polk/Getty Images
Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams-Paisley
The country superstar’s marriage to Williams-Paisley got a reboot after 12 years: The Nashville actress revealed to Us in March 2015 that the duo had what she called a “really, really campy wedding vow renewal ceremony” at a friend’s house that year. Williams-Paisley said she wore a unique wedding dress for the ceremony: "You could see my pink panties underneath it," she told Us. "It was pretty awesome. One of my best friends went and bought it for me. It was a surprise, I didn’t know we were doing it." The lovebirds share two children, William and Jasper.  John Shearer/WireImage
Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso
The parents to Isabella, Gia, Stella and Alexa were remarried before guests including Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner and Chelsea Clinton and husband Marc Mezvinsky on the Carribean isle of St. Lucia in April 2013. The Jason Bourne actor rented out the entire Sugar Beach Resort for their vow renewal, which was officiated by Jimmy Kimmel and came eight years after they wed in December 2005. "Matt wanted it to be fun, happy and private,” a source told Us of their second ceremony. “He felt like Luciana deserves this, first and foremost." Another insider added, “They've wanted to do it for a long time. … They had a tiny ceremony the first time, and wanted to celebrate with family and friends." Kevin Mazur/Getty Images
LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian
One year after the “One Way Ticket” singer and the Rosewood actor made their love affair official with their 2011 wedding at a private estate in Malibu, Calfornia, they did it all over again. "Renewed our vows today," Rimes tweeted in April 2012. "It's incredible to thank each other for the past year as husband and wife. Here's to another great year!" Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic
Kris and Caitlyn Jenner

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott
The pair, who were first married in Fiji in 2006, have certainly had their ups and downs over the years, surviving a 2013 cheating scandal and coparenting their five children, Liam, Stella, Hattie, Finn and Beau, but they vowed to be there for each for better or worse for a second time in May 2010. “This is a rebirth," Spelling told Us at the time. “We've gone through our ups and downs, but we wouldn't have changed a moment of it." Gisele Bünchen and Tom Brady
One time down the aisle wasn’t enough for the model and her athlete hubby, who renewed their vows in Costa Rica months after their first go-around in February 2009. Bündchen reflected on their nine years as husband and wife in her 2018 memoir, Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life. “When someone you love is happy, it makes you happy,” she wrote.
