I needed to explore out there and take the time away [from Hef and the Mansion],” she told Us in June 2011. “The time away really helped make me realize that where I'm meant to be is here with Hef. The Olympic figure skater and Voronov had an intimate courthouse wedding on New Year’s Eve in 2011. It was a difficult transition for Weir, who told Access Hollywood in February 2014, "Being married is an adjustment, and I'm such an OCD, solitary, confined person that it was very hard to open my life and my home and in some ways my closet to somebody else … We both are constantly fighting to wear the pants in the relationship." One month later, Weir announced the couple’s split on Twitter. "It is with great sadness that I announce that my husband and I are no longer together," he tweeted. "My heart hurts, and I wish him well." Helen Mirren and Taylor Hackford

The Oscar winner married the director on New Year’s Eve — which is also Hackford’s birthday — in 1997 after 10 years of dating. She reminisced about her wedding night in Scotland to Yahoo in January 2018. “We had very few people, only like 16 people because we only had room in the place we rented for 16 guests,” she recalled. “So, when I arrived at the church, word had gone out, because we got married in a really small fishing village … So when I arrived at the church, it was like 6 o’clock at night on New Year’s Eve … all the people who lived in the village had come to stand outside the church to watch me arrive and watch. And because I knew there were so few of us in the church, I said, ‘Why don’t you all come in? Come on in! Join in.’ They went, ‘Are you sure?’ I said, ‘Yeah, come on in.’ So when I walked in as the bride, they all came in, as I heard them all sort of shuffling very quietly and respectfully into the church, filling the church up.”

She continued, “Then the priest said, ‘We’re here for the wedding of Helen Mirren and Taylor Hackford, but before we have the wedding, I just want to tell you all that it’s Taylor Hackford’s birthday today, so I want us all to sing him ‘Happy Birthday.’ So [the] whole church started [singing].”

Though they have been married for 21 years, their 1997 New Year’s Eve nuptials weren’t exactly picture perfect: Pinkett Smith revealed on October 22 2018 on her Facebook Watch series, Red Table Talk, that she felt pressure from her mother to wed after getting pregnant with her first child, Jaden. (The couple also share daughter Willow and Will is also the father of son Trey with ex-wife Sheree Zampino.) "I was so upset that I had to have a wedding,” Pinkett Smith revealed. “I was so pissed. I went crying down the freakin' aisle getting married." Added her mother, Adrienne Banfield-Jones, “It was a mess. Jada was sick, she was very unpleasant."
