Ten years of drama! Brandi Glanville feuded with ex-husband Eddie Cibrian and his current wife, LeAnn Rimes, for nearly a decade after his headline-making cheating scandal. See a timeline below!

Us Weekly broke the news that Rimes was having an affair with Cibrian after meeting on the set of the Lifetime movie Northern Lights. The “Can’t Fight the Moonlight” singer was married to former backup dancer Dean Sheremet at the time, while the Sunset Beach alum was wed to Glanville. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star later told Us, “LeAnn is a stalker. She refuses to leave us alone — it is shameful and scary. People are going to say it takes two to tango and I get that, but at some point LeAnn needs to stop asking him to dance.”

Glanville told Us exclusively that she left Cibrian after his dalliances with Rimes and model Scheana Marie, the latter of whom went on to become a cast member on Vanderpump Rules. “Eddie and I have decided to take some time apart,” Glanville said. “I want to do what is best for our children [Mason and Jake]. Eddie and LeAnn deserve each other.” The divorce was finalized in October 2010.

A source told Us that the “How Do I Live” songstress had been separated from Sheremet, her husband of seven years, for “a while.” The insider added, “They are still not divorcing yet, but are working through things and taking time apart — as they have been — while they figure things out.” They started the divorce process months later and finalized it in June 2010.

Rimes said she had no regrets about her affair with Cibrian. “It happens every day to so many people,” she said in an interview with ABC News’ Robin Roberts. “And if I take away my album sales, my words … you have just another couple. You had two couples whose marriages didn’t work who really stumbled upon each other and fell in love.”

After weeks of speculation, Cibrian made it official and proposed to Rimes over the holidays. A source close to Glanville told Us that the Drinking and Tweeting author “couldn’t care less” about the engagement because “LeAnn has gotten exactly what she wanted from the get-go.”

The actor and the country singer tied the knot at a private estate in Malibu. She gushed about the wedding on Twitter soon after: “Eddie and I are overwhelmed by the amount of lovely well wishes. We are blessed and…. I'm Mrs. Cibrian!!! So wonderful to wake up as husband and wife. Love to all of you.”

Rimes admitted herself into a 30-day inpatient treatment facility for anxiety. “LeAnn has had major insecurity issues since she first got together with Eddie,” a friend of the couple told Us. “She’s been stressed about always being called a home-wrecker and also worried that Eddie is cheating on her. She’s been on a downward spiral.” Glanville extended an olive branch at the time, telling Us, “I totally support LeAnn’s decision to enter rehab — my top priority is my children, and at the end of the day we are a family. LeAnn is their stepmom, and they love her. I am wishing her all the best and I hope she will find what she is looking for while in rehab.”

The Bravo personality changed her tune about Rimes as a stepmother. She told Us exclusively, “I know that my kids love her, and I know that she’s upset. I, unfortunately, don’t find her to be stable and I don’t want her around my kids when Eddie’s not there.”

Scheana told Us that she “ended things” with Cibrian after he was caught with Rimes. “I’m sick of everyone saying I’m a home-wrecker – no! He wrecked his own home,” she said. “He broke his vows, he f--ked up, not me!”

It didn’t take long for Rimes and Cibrian to bring up Glanville on their short-lived reality show, LeAnn & Eddie. “Look, everyone thinks they really know how it is with us, but there are two sides to every story and this is ours,” the Invasion star said during the introduction before the musician said they’re just “trying to figure out how to navigate this family … that’s highly publicized.”

The feud seemed to settle down for a bit — until the Celebrity Big Brother star predicted that her ex-husband will divorce Rimes in a few years. “I think when the 10-year mark [of their marriage] comes and he leaves her and takes half her stuff, we’ll all be good together because they won’t even be related,” Glanville said on Daily Pop. “If she doesn’t have a kid with him, then we don’t ever have to see her again.”

A series of back-and-forth stalking allegations ensued after Glanville’s explosive interview. She claimed Cibrian and Rimes showed up with her children while she was enjoying dinner with her then-boyfriend, Donald “DJ” Friese, in Malibu. The actor called his ex’s claims “false” in a statement to Us and defended his current wife as “a fantastic stepmom.” Later that month, Glanville told Us, “They sat across the room from us just to hurt and torment me by using my own children as pawns.”

The feud finally came to an end — at least for now. “The three of us sat and talked for hours hashed everything out and the feud with @leannrimes Eddie and I is over” Glanville tweeted. “They will not be getting rid of me on any holidays #modernfamily.”

Rimes referred to her Easter with Glanville, Cibrian, Mason and Jake as “awkward” in April 2019, but later clarified that she was simply referring to their poses in the family photo, not the situation. “Happy Easter LovEs! Our awkward family Easter photo/Christmas card?! Lol,” she wrote on Instagram. “Today has been a wonderful day. Many blessings to your family from all of us! #easter #happyeaster #easter2019 #family #ifyoudonthavesomethingnicetosaypleasemoveon *awkward - the way we are standing, not that we are all together. Not awkward at all. #clarity.”

Glanville confirmed she was still on good terms with Cibrian and Rimes in January 2020 when she congratulated him on his new Netflix series with Katharine McPhee. “Congrats to these two! Wow, we really have come a long way!” she wrote at the time via Instagram. Fans were also quick to point out that McPhee’s husband, David Foster, used to appear on RHOBH with Glanville during his marriage to Yolanda Foster.

The reality TV personality reignited the drama in March 2020 when Glanville alleged that the couple were keeping her sons from her amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“It’s very crazy that I’ve been alone for this entire week and I can’t be with my children because it happens not to be my week in our divorce settlement,” Glanville tweeted on March 20. “I think that this is a time with special circumstances and I should be able to be with them. … This is when people’s true colors show @eddiecibrian @leannrimes how truthful are your words??!!”
When a social media user criticized the Bravo star for addressing the situation via Twitter, she fired back that she “called, texted and emailed” Cibrian and Rimes.
“Sometimes social media is the only thing that other people care about!!” Granville tweeted at the time. “I’ve done my due diligence, trust me!!!! Sometimes you have to take it to the f–king masses.”
While Glanville was reunited with Mason and Jake days after her posts, she still wasn’t happy about the situation.
“I got the boys back today. I still will never understand why we all don’t stay together in [their] mansion with me in the guest house so we can both be with our kids,” she wrote. “Guess I’m just further involved or removed.”

Rimes competed on season 4 of The Masked Singer in the fall of 2020 — and Glanville predicted the big reveal months before it happened. "I think the sun is 100 percent Leann Rimes #maskedsinger," the Bravo star tweeted in October. "Although my kids say no way because she told them that she would never do this show because it's sooo beneath her." Two months later, Rimes was crowned the winner. "Hope my kids bonus mom The Sun Leanne Rines [sic] wins the masked singer tonight #Spitfire," Glanville tweeted ahead of the season finale.

The Bravo personality denied that her tweets about Rimes on The Masked Singer were malicious in any way after some fans claimed she was being mean. “First of all I did not shade or diss lean rimes [sic] I rooted for her to win,” Glanville tweeted, one day after the show’s finale in December 2020. “She clearly told my kids that she’d never do the show to keep things a secret because they have big mouths. She deserved to win I’m glad she won! stop reading into s--t!”

The former Bravo star announced via Instagram in December 2020 that she spent Christmas Day with "the best masked singer of all time" — a little over a week after Rimes was crowned the winner. In the picture, the pair posed in matching Pol' Atteu sequinned face masks, holding up one finger.
