Shannen Doherty’s Dating History

Throughout her decades in the industry, Shannen Doherty has navigated several marriages and relationships.

The actress shot to stardom as Brenda Walsh on Beverly Hills, 90210, which premiered in 1990 and throughout her four-year run on the drama, Doherty was engaged three times.

In 1991, Doherty accepted a proposal from Chicago real estate manager Chris Foufas. Their engagement ended in 1992 and she moved on with Dean Factor. The twosome got engaged in 1993 but their romance came to a tumultuous end when he filed for a restraining order against her.

“Don’t believe everything you read,” she said in response at the time, per People. “To paraphrase Mark Twain, half the things you read about me are untrue, and the others are lies.”

Doherty subsequently walked down the aisle for the first time, marrying actor Ashley Hamilton on October 11, 1993. The duo filed for divorce in April 1994.

In her 2008 memoir, sTORI Telling, Tori Spelling wrote about partying with Doherty and their respective partners — admitting that they both made questionable choices when it came to relationships at the time.

“A night with [Shannen] meant going to the hottest club and drinking until the early hours. I knew she was a ‘bad influence,’ but I liked her anyway,” she wrote in the book.

While the cast of the hit show, which ran for 10 seasons, have alluded to offscreen hookups, Doherty’s onscreen brother, Jason Priestley, denied reports that he had an offscreen romance with Doherty during a 1993 interview with Howard Stern. Years later, he admitted that several costars got together in real life.

“Various combinations of people slept with each other over the years. Nobody ever got attached,” Priestley wrote in his 2015 book. “We never let it get in the way what we were doing. I will let you know that nobody ever got — work always superseded everything.”

Doherty left Beverly Hills, 90210 after season 4, and went on to star in Charmed. She was in an on-again, off-again relationship with producer Rob Weiss from 1995 to 1998 before she married Rick Salomon in 2002 after two days of dating. Their marriage was annulled after nine months in 2003.

“I’ve had some bad relationships and two failed marriages. It’s like, ‘Why did I pick these men?’ I guess it was about what I thought I could do to help them. But, in truth, I was only hurting myself,” she told Parade in 2010. “It’s like my second husband Rick Salomon. After we split, he was on those sex tapes with Paris Hilton. I’m not going to lie and say I didn’t love him even though the bad times sure outweighed the good. But, like any badass, I think I’ve learned from my mistakes.”

Doherty wed for the third time in 2011, tying the knot with photographer Kurt Iswarienko in front of WE tv cameras for a reality show titled Shannen Says. Four years later, the Heathers star was diagnosed with breast cancer. While she announced in 2017 that she was in remission after surgeries and rounds of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, Doherty revealed in February 2020 that her cancer had returned.

Doherty’s love life made headlines again in April 2023 when she filed for divorce from Iswarienko after 11 years of marriage — and hinted that things weren’t amicable.

“Divorce is the last thing Shannen wanted,” Doherty’s rep, Leslie Sloane, said in a statement. “Unfortunately, she felt she was left with no other option. You can contact Kurt’s agent, Collier Grimm at PICTUREKID, as she is intimately involved.”

Aly Raisman: A Day in My Life

Aly Raisman ’s life has looked quite different since she officially hung up her leotard and retired from gymnastics in 2020. But even though she’s not spending as much time at the gym, the former gymnast, 26, still makes it a point to live a healthy lifestyle. On a typical day in her life, Raisman will do a Pilates session to maintain her svelte physique. After years of intense training, the three-time Olympic gold medalist found that the method — which involves low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and endurance movements — not only benefited her body, but her mind too. “When I have a good workout, I feel more calm and I feel more connected to my body,” she told Women’s Health in January. “That is a very different answer that I would have given you a couple of years ago. If I were training, I would have probably said a good workout to me is when I push myself as much as I can … I think I pushed myself enough for most of my life. So, now I just want to leave the gym feelin...
