Longing for love? Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly (real name Colson Baker) started off their relationship by being coworkers, but it quickly evolved into something more.
The Tennessee native and “Rap Devil” singer met on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass in March 2020. At the time, Fox was married to Brian Austin Green.
Two months later, the costars were spotted together amid rumors of a split between the Transformers star and Beverly Hills, 90210 alum. Green confirmed that he and Fox had called it quits after 10 years of marriage on his “…With Brian Austin Green” podcast on May 18, 2020. The two share three sons, Noah, Bodhi and Journey.
While discussing the breakup, the California native addressed Fox’s friendship with Kelly, saying that the two were “friends.” Green explained that he had been separated from the actress since the end of 2019 and he didn’t “want people to think that her or he are villains, or I was a victim in any way with any of this because I wasn’t.”
Despite Green’s explanation of the situation, a source told Us Weekly exclusively on May 19, 2020, that the costars had begun “spending more and more time together because of their work schedules and filming together.”
The insider added: “They started off as friends and their relationship grew from there. Megan thinks MGK is a really cool guy and their relationship turned more romantic.”
Us reported on June 17 that the Jennifer’s Body actress and “I Think I’m OKAY” rapper were “officially dating” after sparking romance rumors a month prior.

“Megan and MGK have gotten more serious,” the source told Us exclusively. “[They’re] referring to one another as boyfriend and girlfriend. They’re enjoying spending more and more time together and have a strong connection.”
The couple were spotted showing PDA in Los Angeles on multiple occasions and in July 2020, they were photographed leaving California to resume filming Midnight in the Switchgrass in Puerto Rico, according to Randall Emmett‘s Instagram post.

Green confirmed on May 18 that he and Fox had split after 10 years of marriage during his “…With Brian Austin Green” podcast. The Anger Management alum also commented on Fox’s relationship with Kelly at the time, saying, “they’re friends at this point.” He added: “From what she’s expressed, he’s a really just nice, genuine guy. And I trust her judgment. She’s always had really good judgment.”

A day after her breakup with Green went public a source told Us that Fox and Kelly had “definitely” taken their relationship out of the friendship zone. The following day, the Texas native released his music video for “Bloody Valentine,” which featured Fox. In the video, the two got steamy and almost kissed.

The duo were spotted in L.A. on June 15, holding hands and sharing a kiss for the first time since news of their rumored romance broke a month earlier. The same day, the singer quoted his song, via Twitter, writing, “I’m calling you my girlfriend, what the f—k,” seemingly putting a label on their relationship.

“It’s no secret. I think feet are beautiful,” Kelly told Teen Vogue on July 13. “And I think Megan has the most beautiful feet that exist,” he added referencing Fox’s feet, which made a cameo in his music video for “Bloody Valentine.”

Fox referred to Kelly as her "twin flame" in a conversation with astrologer Susan Miller on an episode of the "Give Them Lala ... With Randall" podcast with Lala Kent and Randall Emmett. "The second that I was in a room with him ... I knew right away that he was what I call a twin flame," she recalled. In an Interview profile, Kelly explained to Dave Franco how Fox has been helpful during his drug addiction recovery. “When you have a partner, mine being Megan, sitting there with you on those dark nights when you’re sweating and not being able to figure out why you’re so in your head, to help you get out of your head and put it in perspective, that really, really helps,” he said.

Fox and Kelly sparked engagement rumors when she was spotted wearing a huge ring on her left hand in New York City. He also sported what appeared to be costume jewelry during the outing. Three months later, Kelly explained why that gift means so much to him while appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “Well, she was actually going out of town to film a movie. This was really new in our relationship,” the musician said in May 2021. “I didn’t have a passport either. So, she was going out to Bulgaria so I was kind of freaking out, like, ‘You’re gonna leave and I can’t even come see you.'” As a result, the mother of three gave him the pendant, which he carries with him when he isn’t wearing it. “Some people give, like, a handkerchief to their partner or whatever. "When I met him, I knew instantly that this is a soul I’ve traveled with before, that this was a soul-mate connection, and that there was a purpose here," she explained at the time. The musician announced that he is teaming with Fox once again for the upcoming stoner comedy Good Mourning With a U, which will also be his directorial debut. Kelly and longtime friend MOD SUN cowrote and will coproduce the film, according to a press release. Kelly, MOD SUN and Fox will costar in the movie alongside Dove Cameron, Whitney Cummings, GaTa, Becky G, Zach Villa, Jenna Boyd and Boo Johnson. Pete Davidson is set to make a special appearance.
