60 percent of the time, it works every time! Paul Rudd has starred in a variety of blockbuster hits over the years including Anchorman, Ant-Man and Ghostbusters: Afterlife, but outside of his career, he’s been happily married to wife Julie Yaeger for almost two decades.

Keep scrolling to learn why Paul Rudd fell in love with his lovely wife:

Who Is Paul Rudd’s Wife?
Yaeger, who is a New York native, works as a producer and screenwriter in the entertainment industry and has penned some of Rudd's own films including 2017's Fun Mom Dinner, which also stars Toni Collette, Molly Shannon, Adam Scott, and Adam Levine. The mom of two was also a producer on The Suite with Dave Karger — a series based on celebrity journalist Dave Karger interviewing the cast and directors of upcoming box office movies, as well as high-profile Oscar contenders. Outside of Hollywood, Yaeger is a business owner. She and Rudd co-own the candy store Samuels Sweet Shop with Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton in Rhinebeck, New York. Prior to meeting her hubby, Yaeger began her career as a publicist, where she was involved in films like Mr. Jealousy, Niagara, Niagara, and Men In Black — a job that ultimately led her to meet the Anchorman star. How Did Paul Rudd and Julie Yaeger Meet?
According to a Nylon Guy profile, Rudd was fresh off Clueless — a 1995 romantic comedy that costarred Alicia Silverstone — when he arrived in New York City and was late to an audition. (Rudd had decided to move to the Big Apple after heading the advice of Amy Heckerling, who directed the cult classic. As a result, the Marvel actor left his luggage with a woman working at a publicist’s office who would later turn out to be his wife.  On an episode of Friday Night In With the Morgans in May 2020, Yaeger revealed that while she worked at the PR firm, Rudd eventually was given "more than PR" as their working relationship turned romantic.  Rudd, for his part, told Marie Claire UK in July 2018 that Yaeger was the first person he had met in New York. He was struck by her maturity, and they connected over both experiencing tragedy in their lives and their mutual Jewish faith.  "… Wow, this is a woman. This isn’t a girl," he shared with the outlet about his first impressions of Yaeger, noting that he was "really taken" by how she had "overcome and was in the process of overcoming adversities in her life."  The 40-Year-Old Virgin star added that Yaeger had a perspective — and still does — on the world that "doesn’t come easily." He said,  "it's earned, and most people don’t have it at such a young age." Crollalanza/Shutterstock

Rudd and Yaeger share two children: son Jack, who was born in 2006, and daughter Darby, who was born in 2010. During her Friday Night In With the Morgans episode, Yaeger shared that as a parent, all she believes children need to know is that "you’re there and you love them," before adding that her kids can "play with a dish towel and sponge and just be happy as anything else. Yaeger and Rudd are worked hard at keeping their kids out of the spotlight over the years. In 2015, Rudd brought his entire brood along when he unveiled his Hollywood Walk of Fame star, however, his son remains unimpressed. After telling Jack that he was cast as Ant-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Rudd told Entertainment Tonight that he teen replied, "I can't wait to see how stupid that'll be." Did Paul Rudd’s Marriage to Julie Yaeger Inspire ‘Knocked Up’ and ‘This Is 40’?
Rudd revealed during a 2012 interview with The Jewish Journal that pieces of his own life informed the scripts for Knocked Up and This Is 40. The actor recounted the time when Judd Apatow was writing the film and Yaeger told him that she was sick of looking at his back on the computer all day while he checked his fantasy football scores.  "Sometimes in a real marriage, it’s about asking your wife to look at this and what does that look like?, the Role Models actor told The Jewish Journal. "While it’s not traditionally romantic, I would say it’s arguably romantic in its intimacy." Rudd said the idea that a couple can have that kind of conversation is "very romantic" and that being able to fart in front of one another can be a "very sweet gesture." During a 2015 interview with Elle UK, the People's "Sexiest Man Alive" was asked what he thought his "most attractive feature" was, to which he replied, "I'd say, my wife."  Jim Ruymen/UPI/Shutterstock
