She added: “The family we choose for ourselves is as mighty as the family genetics 🧬 can build – and many of you have been part of that family for me, urging me through growth and change and some really unfortunate hairstyles. 1. He Is a Musician

Felber creates music under the name "Attawalpa," and he opened up about his decision to stay a solo artist in order to retain full control of his vision.

“I’ve been signed to labels before, and had a bunch of money. They’ll say ‘make something with this’ and that’s really cool, and I did, but then they’re allowed to dabble in it and I really like the sort of DIY, out on the street, aspect of making things," he told Yuck Magazine in July 2021. "Especially with videos, I get to collaborate and evolve with really cool directors and people I’ve been wanting to work with for ages.”

Dunham showed her support for her husband after his new song "Yellow Fingers" was released.

“Brand new song & video from my ❤️ 💡 👑 @attawalpa and by gosh I believe he’s done it again," the writer captioned the clip via Instagram in May 2021. "It’s so special – and nice green ‘knickers’ my love, did not know those moves were in you.”

2. His Name Has an Interesting History

Felber clarified that his middle name Atahualpa was given to him by his mother to represent the last Incan king. His brother received the middle name Tupaq to reflect the other remaining ruler in what is now known as Peru.

“They’re both old Peruvian kings. Atahualpa was the mischievous, rebellious one,” the performer mentioned to Yuck Magazine. “He was like the last Incan king, so he was basically ruling the empire and trying to fight his brother at the same time.”

3. He Is Proud of His Heritage

The Peruvian English producer previously opened up about staying in touch with his South American heritage.

“Most of my school life was in this country and I felt a bit kind of pressured to hide that side of me. I don’t know if that’s something to do with me or society, but I didn’t really embrace it until recently,” he told Yuck Magazine about adjusting to his new normal in the U.S.

Felber continued: “It’s part of me. It influences me a lot. It influences me in what I eat, like every day. I’ve tasted Peruvian food and it’s the bomb. I feel like it’s a different world over there, you know. The culture’s different and reflects the past and what the country is like. So like, I’m blessed I’ve had that experience and I’m blessed I can speak Spanish as well as English.”

4. He Has Been Honest About Struggling With His Mental Health

The U.K. native admitted that his connection to music helps him channel his energy into something creative when he is dealing with a tough day.

“I use it kind of as therapy. Back then, I didn’t know I was a depressive. Making music made me feel so good even if it was rubbish, if I didn’t have any words or anything and it was just a melody and guitar line or whatever, it just makes you feel so good," he noted to Yuck Magazine in 2021. "I could literally do that this morning, come up with a new idea and only I’ve heard it; that’s a cool space to be in.”
