Coparenting drama? Kailyn Lowry revealed earlier this month that she’s pregnant with her fourth child, but the Teen Mom 2 star exclusively told Us Weekly weeks later that she’s “prepared” to raise the child without the help of her ex Chris Lopez, the baby’s father.

“I know that the situation is not ideal,” Lowry told Us on February 24. “However, the absolutely untrue and defamatory statements people are making about me because of this are out of hand. … At the end of the day, I have three children that are happy, healthy and wonderful kids. I know I’m prepared to raise another baby on my own and we are all so excited to welcome him into our family.”

She also claimed that Lopez “has admitted to intentionally getting me pregnant” and asserted that she has “no contact” with him.

Lowry and Lopez already have one child together, Lux, whom they welcomed in 2017. The MTV personality also shares son Isaac with her ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera and son Lincoln with her ex-husband, Javi Marroquin.

1. He Wished He Supported Lowry More During Her First Pregnancy
“Here’s an honest moment for y’all,” Lopez said during an October 2019 Instagram Q&A. “I wouldn’t say regret but I wish I was there more for his mother while she was pregnant with him. She really carried my son for nine months and I was f—kin’ up.”

2. Lowry Once Called Him Her Easiest Coparenting Partner
That same month, an Instagram user asked Lowry which of her exes was the “easiest” person with whom to coparent: Rivera, Marroquin or Lopez. “100% #3,” the 16 and Pregnant alum replied.

3. He Has an Arrest Record
Lopez was arrested in January 2020 after allegedly violating a protective order filed against him the year prior. According to documents obtained by Us, he was charged with criminal contempt of a domestic violence protective order and was released the same day after posting his $5,000 bail.

4. Lowry Joked to Us About Marrying Him
“Chris and I are always together even when we’re not together, if that makes any sense,” Lowry explained on Us’ “Watch With Us” podcast in January 2019, after joking that she and Lopez were weeks away from walking down the aisle together. “Don’t be surprised if you see a wedding in the tabloids the next month!” she added.

5. He’s Not Interested in Being on Teen Mom 2
“I think he kind of feels like it’s my thing,” Lowry added at the time. “He’s watched Jo, Javi and other people take advantage of me being on the show and the platform that it brings them … and I think that he doesn’t want to be that person.”
