Teresa Giudice and her husband, Joe Giudice, made some startling statements in their interview with Andy Cohen on Sunday, October 27.
Teresa and Joe Giudice’s Ups and Downs Over the YearsThe reality TV stars didn’t hold back in their tell-all chat on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey Special Event: Joe and Teresa Unlocked, discussing cheating allegations, the state of their marriage and their future together.
The sit-down interview with Teresa and Joe, both 47, came a little over two weeks after the businessman was released from Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody and flew to his native Italy, where he will await the final verdict on his appeal against his deportation.
Joe was placed in ICE custody in March after finishing his 41-month prison sentence for fraud. His wife served almost one year in lockup for similar charges in 2015.
At one point during the interview, Cohen 51, asked Joe if he is still “in love” with his wife of 20 years, with whom he shares four daughters, Gia, 18, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 13, and Audriana, 10.
Teresa responded to Cohen’s question by saying that she didn’t think that her husband “was faithful” to her when she was behind bars, and called him out for being “photographed with women” while she was serving time.
During Joe’s stint in prison, Teresa’s former pal Kim DePaola accused her of cheating on her husband, alleging in 2017 that the cookbook author was romancing a New Jersey businessman. Her lawyer “vehemently” denied the claims.
On New Year’s Eve 2018, she was spotted “aggressively flirting” with New Jersey realtor Blake Schreck and the pair were spotted getting cozy and holding hands while on vacation in Miami in February.
Teresa, who is set to fly to Italy soon with the couple’s kids to see Joe, cried as she said she was “happy” that her husband is “free.” But Cohen pointed out that they didn’t “seem like happy tears.”
“This relationship, you kinda seem like you’re speaking about it in the past tense,” he observed.

“I’m going to be honest with you, I haven’t seen him in three years and eight months,” Teresa said, adding that she thinks she’s changed in the time that Joe’s been away and has become “more independent.” “I’ve definitely changed. I’m sure he has too,” Teresa said. “But now like the way I’m seeing him speak, like, he looks like he’s changed … in a good way.”
“We’re both two different people now,” she added later in the interview. “I’m not the same Teresa I was and he’s not the same Joe,” she said. “I do love him as a person. I don’t know how I’m going to feel when I see him.”

When Cohen asked Joe if he thought Teresa was faithful to him while he was serving time, he replied, “I don’t think she was.” When the pictures of Teresa and Schreck were mentioned, Joe seemed surprised, saying, “I didn’t know you were on a beach with him. “I told you that,” Teresa insisted, saying that she had “a lot of guy friends.”
When Cohen asked her why she was holding hands with Schreck, she explained that he was walking her to her car. “If I was trying to hide it, I wouldn’t leave my hotel room,” she insisted.
Teresa added that she didn’t think Joe was faithful to her but said that she didn’t cheat on him. As for how they feel about each other now, she admitted that when she went to jail to see him she “felt nothing.” “I never wanted to kiss him or anything, I didn’t like the whole environment,” she said.

“If we stay together, we stay together. If we don’t, we don’t,” Joe said of the couple divorcing. “We’ll see.” He insisted that he’ll “always love” Teresa, “no matter what happens.” When Cohen said it sounded like they were talking about the relationship in the past tense, Teresa said, “That’s how I feel about it.” But she admitted that her daughter Gia advised her to wait to see how she feels when she flies to Italy to see Joe.
“I might see my wife and say, ‘Oh, you’re too old for me honey,’” he joked. “We’ll see what happens.”

Teresa said during the RHONJ reunion that she would divorce Joe if he’s deported, and on Sunday she maintained that she can’t see how their relationship can continue if Joe can’t return to the U.S.
“I want to wake up with someone every single day and go to sleep with them,” she said, adding that the kids don’t want to move to Italy. “They’ve been through enough.”
“I’m not gonna pick ‘em up and bring them over here,” Joe agreed, but he talked about possibly moving closer to the U.S. in the hopes that he could see the kids more often.

Teresa admitted that their three eldest daughters are aware that their parents may call it quits. “I think they get it. I don’t think they want to see it happen, obviously, but I think they understand,” she said. “The way I explained it to them, how are we going to live apart? I don’t think he would be faithful, I don’t. I think he would have someone there and I would be here. I don’t want to live life like that.”
Joe responded that if he wanted to be with somebody else he would be but “that’s not what I’m looking do to.”

In another sign that the couple have already moved on, Joe admitted that he’s told Teresa that she needs to find herself a rich man. “I tell her she’s got to get somebody with a lot of money ‘cause you need a lot of money to take care of these things.”
“Maybe you can hook me up,” Teresa replied.
“She has four kids; her way of living isn’t cheap,” Joe continued. “She’s high-maintenance.”
Despite Cohen pointing out that Teresa makes a good salary, Joe added, “At the end of the day she still needs more.”
