Still Not Over Hannah and Tyler! Surprising Stars Who Quarantined Together

No one saw that coming! When the coronavirus pandemic hit in 2020, leading to quarantine measures around the world, celebrities turned to surprising people with whom to spend their time in lockdown.

Hannah Brown traveled to Tyler Cameron’s Florida hometown in March 2020 to shack up with him and his friends. The move sparked reconciliation rumors after the pair met during season 15 of The Bachelorette in 2019. He ultimately became her runner-up, but the twosome remained close after she broke off her brief engagement to Jed Wyatt.

“We were just trying to be friends that we couldn’t even figure that out then,” Cameron exclusively told Us Weekly in October 2020 of their quarantine.

The general contractor and Brown dismissed the idea that they were back together in a joint YouTube video later that month. She revealed they “never kissed” while isolating together, even though he noted that they spent “18 days in the same bed.”

“It was a pressure cooker situation,” Cameron explained. “We were just under pressure the whole time and some of it is our fault because we played into it. We were having fun with it. … I was in a hurt place. You were in a hurt place. … We’ve gone through a lot together and this [was] our first time hanging out and I just wanted to work on it being a friendship.”

The reality stars were not the only exes in close quarters during quarantine. Wayne Brady, for his part, lived with his ex-wife Mandie Taketa and her boyfriend, Jason.

“It’s, like, every other day,” the How I Met Your Mother alum exclusively told Us in December 2020. “People ask that like, ‘Oh, my God, it’s so crazy.’ No, it’s not crazy. Like I said, [you have to] spend time with the family that you love. My ex-wife is my best friend and she’s my family and her boyfriend is part of that family. So who else would I spend this time with? … I’m very fortunate that we have that type of relationship.”

The duo separated in April 2006 after seven years of marriage and finalized their divorce in 2008. They share daughter Maile.

In addition to stars who quarantined with their exes, some celebrities did so with new flames, while others shared more with their lockdown mates than an address.

Scroll through the gallery below to see which celebs shocked Us when they decided to quarantine together.

Demi Moore and Bruce Willis

Moore and Willis’ daughter Tallulah revealed via Instagram in April 2020 that the exes, who divorced in 2000, and their adult children, Rumer, Scout and herself, had been quarantining together for four weeks. The actor’s wife, Emma Heming, and their daughters, Mabel and Evelyn, were initially supposed to join the rest of the family but missed the opportunity to travel to Idaho due to a medical issue. The model reunited with the Die Hard star in May 2020.

Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson

After their messy February 2019 split, no one expected Kardashian and Thompson to isolate together. However, Us broke the news in March 2020 that the then-exes were doing just that with daughter True. A source exclusively told Us in May 2020 that they were “very much acting like a couple” while living together, and Us confirmed in August 2020 that the two were back together. Additionally, he stepped up when she had to quarantine in her bedroom after testing positive for COVID-19

“Khloé is hopeful that Tristan has changed for good and will continue to grow and be the great and loyal partner that he has been throughout their time together during the [coronavirus] quarantine,” a source said at the time.

Hannah Brown, Tyler Cameron and Matt James

Brown and Cameron quarantined in his hometown of Jupiter, Florida, in March 2020 alongside his best friend James, who would go on to become the season 25 Bachelor. The trio and their “quarantine crew” kept tongues wagging with TikTok videos and cozy Instagram photos before the Dancing With the Stars alum departed for her native Alabama later that month.

Brown sparked dating rumors with Adam Woolard in January 2021. Cameron, meanwhile, was linked to Camila Kendra earlier that month.

She confirmed via Instagram later that month that she was living the “farm life,” while a source told Us in May 2020 that they were quarantining together in Iowa and “exclusively dating.” They ventured to her Virginia hometown the following month, but Fuller announced during a September 2020 appearance on the “Viall Files” podcast that the pair split. Soules, for his part, claimed during a November 2020 episode of the “Almost Famous” podcast that they were “still working on things.”

Metcalfe was spotted getting close with multiple women ahead of the breakup news, making the end of the relationship messy. He has since moved on with girlfriend Corin Jamie-Lee Clark; a source confirmed in August 2020 that Santana is dating Shannon Leto.
